Requirements for Remote Notarization

To complete your remote notarization, you must have:

  • A government-issued ID (U.S. driver’s license, ID card, or passport).
  • A U.S. Social Security number (not a TIN or EIN).
  • 3–5 years of U.S. credit history (for identity verification questions).v
  • A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone.
  • Google Chrome (preferred) or Safari browser.
  • A strong internet connection.
